Are you looking for health insurance or looking to switch to a different health insurance? Well, we are in the process and I have found the most wonderful insurance broker! Her name is Ann Marie and she is out of Orlando, Florida. I have been emailing and having phone conversations with her to change out insurance. She has done researching to find just what we are looking for and went even a step further to get me a list of network providers in areas that I wanted to know about. I didn’t even ask her, she just offered to email me the list of providers; this was a huge help to me because as we all know time is precious and we never seem to have enough of it. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to get through the process of getting or changing health insurance smoothly. She is very prompt in answering questions and is very easy to contact. I hope this helps many of you out there reading this blog entry. Here is Ann Marie’s email annmarieh@INS4FL.COM. And please do me a favor when you contact her, let her know that Celayne Moore referred you!

I was speaking with someone not too long ago, referring them to the blog. In the conversation, I mentioned going to the previous entries button at the bottom of the blog page to pull up all entries that are not showing. So I just thought I’d put a little note in my blog for those of you who are new to my site, new to checking out blogs and aren’t aware of this feature. Make sure to use this feature to not miss out on all the helpful information contained in this blog.
Happy Reading!

Do you like to have a good hair day most days, use professional products and not spend an enormous amount of money? If your answer is yes, then this tip is for you! I purchase hair care products at Sally’s Beauty Supply. It’s open to the public and if you sign up for emails, you’ll receive information on specials. Also, they have a club card you can purchase for a minimal amount, I think I paid $5 for mine and you can always receive a discount every time you shop. If you are currently using brand name, salon products go into Sally’s and ask them if they have a generic for that brand or something comparable. I was able to find a generic gel for less than half of what we were paying! And yes, it works the same! Have a great hair day!

If any of you are interested in doing online surveys please let me know. Email me at mooreoutoflife@gmail.com and I will email you the sites to go to. I’ve researched many sites and only found a few that I think are worthwhile doing. It’s a little extra, emphasis on a little
however, if you have a few minutes a day or every few days you can take surveys and make a little extra as these days every little bit helps. If you do research doing at home work online, a word of warning, NEVER pay to get jobs at home, you are the one who should be paid to work not the other way around. Use caution as there are a lot of scams out there.

Are you tired of store bought air fresheners that irritate your sinuses and respiratory system? Try using essential oils. Mix preferred fragrance in a spray bottle with water and spritz in any room you want a nice light scent without the heavy commercial fresheners. I know I am stating the obvious, but use caution not to buy fragrances that you know you’re allergic to such as scents from flowers. You can use plain plastic spray bottles that you can purchase at Wal-Mart or almost any common store in your area. Also, when making homemade cleaners you can add essential oils for a light fragrance when cleaning. I also read that you can soak cotton balls with essential oil and hide them throughout your home to also add a light fragrance. Easy breathing!

Here is a simple tip. When I do laundry I use only half the amount of detergent than the suggested measurement. I do make my own detergent unless I can find it cheaper. Because I don’t use heavy scented detergents, sometimes I want to add a little fresh smell to the laundry load. To do this I use a “squirt” of Ivory dish soap with the regular detergent. It adds a light fresh fragrance to the load. This helps especially if you’re doing a load of towels and I prefer not to use heavy softener because it can leave a residue on the towels and in the washer dispenser. I purchase softener at the healthfood store and use about half the dose mixed with 1 cup of water and add to dispenser. It keeps the washer from having a build up of residue.
I also use Ivory Dish Soap to wash bathroom rugs. Just a couple of squirts. Probably a couple of Tablespoons; don’t get carried away after all it is dish soap and you don’t need bubbles galore!
Happy Washing!

I don’t know how you all shop, but I buy things that are clearance sometimes, or food that is placed in discount warehouses due to possible unpopularity, they want to sell it before it expires and so on. Most of the time I find good deals and the food quality and taste are just as good if I bought it at top dollar. There was one occasion where I purchased some fruity, chewy, granola bars and they didn’t taste all that great. Being the savvy shopper and saver that I am, I didn’t want to be wasteful and throw them out. So here is what I did. I came up with something similar to rice krispie bars. I melted some butter and marshmallows in a pan over low to medium heat and then I added fruity pebbles cereal (generic) and I used a food processor to chop up the granola bars and then I mixed those in as well. I made them into bars and they actually were edible! :) I was so thrilled with the thought of not wasting food. You really can save a lot of money on food if you will make the most of what you have.Â
Other things I do to not throw food out are as follows:
When you have leftover chicken from roast, grilling, baking, pull it off the bone into pieces and either put in ziplock bags or foodsaver bags (if you own a foodsaver) and label them and put them in the freezer. You can pull them out to make BBQ chicken sandwiches, tacos, burritos, taco soup, chicken salad or some other dish you prefer. You can do the same with beef, pork, turkey or meat of your preference. I don’t know about you or your family, but after a couple days of leftovers we get tired of the same thing so I save it, freeze it, and it makes for a quick meal when I don’t have a lot of time to cook. It also is nice when I don’t feel like cooking much after a long day. Also, if you keep frozen vegetables on hand, you can pull out one of your bags of meat and just do a simple meal of some meat with vegetables on the side. So many of us just don’t have the time to fix a seven course meal every night. Nor can we afford to!Â
I hope you all find these tips helpful and I hope they help you save some money and eat well!
