Another Great Cleaning Idea!!!

November 7th, 2008 |

I have yet another great cleaning idea to share.  Instead of buying expensive cleaners to clean your shower(s), try using a small hand held scrub brush, the cheapest shampoo you can possibly find, and some cheap toothpaste.  The toothpaste works great for scouring action and the shampoo is great for scrubbing the walls and floor of the shower.  There are no fumes and it actually smells pleasant.  I used both of them today and they worked great! I know there are products out on the market that are super powerful that you just spray on and you don’t have to scrub much.  However, I’ve found that I’d rather scrub and take care of my health as those harsh cleaners are not good to breathe in or get on your skin.   Happy Scrubbing!

Fabric Softener

November 3rd, 2008 |

Yet another fabric softener idea!  I have found another fabric softener that I like.  I have started using Ultra Purex Fabric Softener for sensitive skin.  It’s inexpensive and it doesn’t leave that residue that others do.  So far the only place I have found it at is Target.  No other place I’ve checked seems to carry it.  I wanted to try it originally because I wanted something that didn’t leave a residue, was easy on sensitive skin, and had a light fragrance.  This is just another option for anyone who is interested in trying it.

Kids Workshop

November 2nd, 2008 |

Hi to everyone.  I apologize for being away from my blog for so long, but we all are very busy.  Recently we went to Home Depot for the FREE kids workshop.  We found out that the 1st Saturday of every month there is a FREE workshop for kids and they get to build a small project.  It’s a great activity to take the kids too because they get to be hands on and make something they can take home!  So check the Home Depot near you , as they all do it.  Have fun building with your kids!
