Hi there everyone!  I intended to blog a lot more when I started this, but life continues to stay busy and I don’t always have the time I would like as is the case with most of us. :)  For all of you parents out there who won’t buy lunchables for their kids because they are so unhealthy, I have a healthy alternative.  I went searching to find a container to use for school lunches that I could make my own version of lunchables.  I found the coolest containers through Tupperware!  They have so much cool stuff!  Here is what I found:  Lunch ‘n Things Container on sale for just over$7 normally $11.50 and New Colors/Configuration Feeding Set ( I didn’t get the little cup just the two round containers) the containers were about $9 each and they are divided into 3 sections.  I used the round ones and they work great!  In my opinion, you will save money on getting these instead of buying lunchables.  You can buy a box of crackers of yours choice, inexpensive deli meat (which will be way more than you’d get in an unhealthy lunchable) and get many uses out of that package; I cut 3 slices into triangle shapes and put them into the container section, then I put crackers in another section, and fruit in another.  This way, you can be as creative as you want.  Some days you can use granola (homemade or buy granola cereal and use if for snacks as well or in yogurt).  This way, in my opinion, instead of buying a lunchable with a one time meal, you buy containers that you can reuse and boxes and packages of stuff to save money.

The Lunch ‘n @Things container is a larger rectangle container which you will have to get a cooler/lunch box to fit it in so you can put ice packs with it to keep it cool like you would in a normal sized lunch box.  I would suggest getting something that you can get multiple uses out of.  The container has 4 sections to it; 1 for a juice box, 1 for a regular sized sandwich, and then 2 small sections for snack size foods.  It is also a very cool container!
